Amanda Godfrey RMT
Amanda graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy Victoria Campus in 2014, the final year of the 3000 hour program. Amanda’s focus on treatments is to provide Therapeutic Massage using deep tissue work, myofascial release, trigger point therapy as well as other therapeutic techniques. Whether the focus is stress reduction, relaxation, or post injury rehabilitation, she will provide the most effective and appropriate treatment to clients with follow up home-care exercises.
Amanda’s personal challenges with Spina Bifida and Scoliosis, as well as the treatments that she experienced with Registered Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, and Acupuncture Specialists gave her the desire to treat others with chronic back pain and injuries. Despite these hurdles she participates in many activities including snowboarding, gym classes, and hiking which is made possible with her own knowledge of strengthening and maintaining body balance. Something she wishes to pass on to her future clients.
She believes combining Massage Therapy with proper eating and an active lifestyle is a positive way to promote a healthy individual. Amanda is eager to share her knowledge and skills with residents and visitors to Victoria and being a part of your health care plan.
